Erol Bulut plan for Cardiff City forward next season as he says he will offer something very different

The Bluebirds boss has spoken about one player who he will have in the fold next term.

Isaak Davies’ season spent on loan will assist Cardiff City, according to Erol Bulut, who also believes the striker will be a tremendous asset for the Bluebirds in the upcoming campaign.

During the summer, Davies was not a regular member of the starting lineup, therefore everyone agreed that he would benefit from spending a year on loan. And it has undoubtedly turned out to be the case.

With six goals for Belgian struggling team KV Kortrijk, Davies is having his finest goal-scoring season to date. Though he isn’t currently playing for the Bluebirds, he is actually the highest-scoring Cardiff City player on the roster this season.

The 22-year-old’s return by Bulut was briefly discussed in January, but the team decided to let him play at Kortrijk so Cardiff might have a more developed striker available for the upcoming campaign.

With his one-year contract expiring in the summer and no indication that it will be extended, Bulut himself is unsure if he will return to Cardiff for the upcoming season. But Bulut thinks Davies’ return will strengthen the team’s offensive line for the upcoming season, assuming he is healthy.

“It’s crucial to have loan players away, so it might be a little challenging for them to be in the squad during the season (at Cardiff).” To get them back to a higher level for the upcoming season, that is why we are sending them,” Bulut stated.

“I’m not sure if Cardiff has had so many players on loan before having them come back, such as Eli King, Davies, and Joel Bagan. We are tracking them, and they seem to be doing well.

“Everyone begins at zero in the new season. In order for us to use them in the upcoming season, they must demonstrate that they belong on the team. Davies is performing admirably in Kortrijk, and I believe that in the upcoming season he will help the club’s firepower next term.

Although there are some minor variations in their play, Kion Etete, Yakou Meite, and Famara Diedhiou make up Cardiff’s striking force.

Without a doubt, though, Davies—a quick striker who enjoys running in behind defenses—is a completely different proposition. “He is a quick, skillful striker,” Bulut continued. He may play as a winger or as a second striker for you. I believe he can help Cardiff in the upcoming campaign.”

Rubin Colwill is the only academy graduate getting any real first-team minutes at the moment, but that could change before the season is over.
