‘I want to see that through’ – Danny Rohl makes statement over Sheffield Wednesday future

In response to inquiries about his future, Sheffield Wednesday manager Danny Rohl has stated that he wants to see the current development with the Owls through.

Danny Rohl took over for Xisco Munoz at Sheffield Wednesday in October, and the German has since led an amazing comeback at Hillsborough.

With nine victories in 23 league games, the Owls have a chance to survive even though they are still in the Championship relegation zone. The team is now just three points off of safety in the Championship table, sitting in 23rd place.

Many believe Rohl will be at the top in the future because of his performance in his first senior management position with Sheffield Wednesday. The German manager has been a revelation in S6, despite the Owls’ dire circumstances.

The 34-year-old has now talked about his future and made some thought-provoking remarks.

According to reporter Dom Howson, during his interview with Kicker, Rohl discussed the “adjustments” that need to be made for the summer, emphasised his delight in his work with Sheffield Wednesday, and stated his intention to see things through at Hillsborough.

With 20 contracts coming to an end in the summer, the appropriate changes must be made. When assembling the team, many things need to be done correctly. It is a very special club because of its heritage and customs.”

He later said:

I am thrilled to be the head coach of the English edition, which entails managerial responsibilities, after serving in various capacities for about ten years. This is a very fulfilling task for me. I always wear a smile when I go to work.

“Even though the league table situation is difficult, I have a positive attitude every day when I report to work.” I’m currently giving the current season my all attention till May 5 in order to have it conclude like we want it to.

Finally, regarding his future, Rohl stated:

“We’ll sit down together and assess the situation but I feel we are making progress and I want to see that through.”
