Aaron Gordon not satisfied With The Nuggets Having Only One All-Star

Nikola Jokic will play for the Denver Nuggets in the 2024 All-Star game; none of his teammates will be accompanying him. Though Aaron Gordon disagrees, the current Finals MVP has long been regarded as the lone reliable All-Star on the Nuggets team.

“I have no idea why that is. It’s a mystery to me, so I’m not quite sure. Not at all logical. Looking in from the outside, I thought, “I dunno, Denver only has one All-Star.” It seems like you have Jamal, Mike, me, and KCP on the inside right now, but I’m not sure. I find it nonsensical. “Mali ought to have been an All-Star this season without a doubt.”

Gordon was a well-liked candidate to be selected as an All-Star the previous season. After missing a year and a half due to injury, Jamal Murray was still getting used to his routine. In his place, Gordon emerged as the Nuggets’ top defensive option and helped the team secure the top seed. Gordon did not make the roster, and coach Michael Malone attended the All-Star game instead.

This season, Gordon’s averages are 13.8 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 3.1 assists. Due to Murray’s return to prominence as the backup scoring option and the Nuggets’ lack of the top seed in the West, he hasn’t been seen as a possible All-Star this season.
