Rotherham United boss salutes the travelling heroes

Our sincere gratitude is extended to the ardent supporters who drove 180 miles to Ipswich on Tuesday evening in pursuit of the Millers.

145 people traveled to Portman Road during the hectic midweek, even though their side was struggling at the bottom of the Championship.

Leam Richardsonip, the manager of the first team, praised the efforts of individuals who go above and beyond. Richardson is known for going out to cheer on supporters before home games.

“We are aware of how costly it can be to watch your favorite football team across the nation, and it can be difficult to get to Ipswich on a Tuesday night. “Many have work the following morning,” he remarked.

“The boys come over because we are always grateful. I visit them prior to the game because I value each and every one of them.

“It’s always simple to encourage your staff when they’re performing well, as I’ve mentioned. Special thanks are out to the true fans who never stop.

Travelers saw an inspiring comeback from a 3-1 deficit to 3-3, but in the 96th minute, Ipswich scored the game’s winning goal.

Richardson went on, “I’m sad that the performance levels we’ve had for a significant portion of the time since I’ve been here haven’t produced the desired results. If we continue to act in that manner, we will succeed.
