Arsenal and West Ham in battle with a move for 22-year-old Brazilian midfielder

Sao Paulo midfielder Pablo Maia has been linked with a move to the Premier League at the end of the season.

A report from Daily Mail claims that clubs like Arsenal and West Ham United could be potential destinations for the 22-year-old at the end of the season. The midfielder is reportedly keen on a move to the Premier League and he will want to compete at the highest level.

For him, moving to West Ham or Arsenal would undoubtedly be an alluring offer. From Sao Paulo, it would be a significant improvement.

A defensive midfielder with plenty of versatility would be very helpful to Arsenal, especially as a long-term substitute for Thomas Partey. The Ghanaian international will require a replacement in the upcoming months due to his fair share of injury issues this season.

At the center of Arsenal’s midfield, the Brazilian and Declan Rice might create a formidable combination. He will give their side more defensive cover and give the creative players more leeway to work.

Playing football on a regular basis in England could help him reach his enormous potential and advance his growth. It is unclear where the 22-year-old will play in the Premier League, but he possesses the physicality and technical skills necessary to succeed there.

For him, West Ham would also be a desirable move. The Hammers are participating in the Europa League this season after winning the UEFA Europa League the previous year. They have an ambitious idea and an amazing team at their disposal.
