Arsenal working on triple Deadline Day deal as Lino Sousa heads to Aston Villa

Swansea is interested in Charles Sagoe Jr., while Bradley Ibrahim has joined Hertha Berlin.

On Deadline Day, defender Lino Sousa of Arsenal is anticipated to finalize his transfer to Aston Villa.

The 19-year-old was expected to sign a four-and-a-half-year contract with Villa before joining Plymouth Argyle on loan in the Championship.

Before the deadline, Sousa was one of several young players who may depart the Gunners on loan or permanently.

Swansea is interested in loaning out winger Charles Sagoe Jr. This season, the 19-year-old earned his Gunners first-team debut by substituting in the Carabao Cup against Brentford in September.

Charlie Patino made the similar transfer earlier in the window, so Sagoe will be a familiar figure in South Wales.

Bradley Ibrahim, a midfielder who led Arsenal to the FA Youth Cup Final the previous season, finalized his transfer to Hertha Berlin today, signing a contract that runs through 2027.

Ibrahim, an England youth international, also saw action this season as a substitute for the starting lineup for Arsenal during their 3-1 Premier League victory against Burnley at home in November.

Amario Cozier-Duberry and Reuell Walters are two academy players who shouldn’t be leaving Arsenal right now. They have six months left on their contracts, just like Lino Sousa, but Arsenal wants them to stay.

In the hopes that they stay, contract negotiations with the two will continue after the window. Walters is content to hold off on making a decision until May.
