Aston Villa ins and outs confirmed as Unai Emery chases Morgan Rogers transfer

News on Aston Villa from BirminghamLive as Unai Emery attempts to boost his team for the second half of the season during the January transfer window

Only one of Aston Villa’s eight completed transactions this month has involved an inbound player, but before the January transfer window closes on Thursday, there may be a few arrivals.

After Crvena Zvezda decided to sell Kosta Nedeljkovic for £6.5 million plus add-ons, the club signed him as its first January acquisition. For the balance of the season, the 18-year-old rejoined the Serbian champions.

Three bids for the dynamic forward, Morgan Rogers, have been rejected by Villa, despite their best efforts to sign him from Middlesbrough. Boro will let Rogers go if Villa meet their asking price since he joined from Man City in the summer and is only six months into a four-year contract.
